I'm a new user of MEXC and I am interested in enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on the platform. I've heard that 2FA is a great security feature, but I'm not sure how to go about setting it up. Does anyone have any experience setting up 2FA on MEXC and can provide some guidance? I understand that it involves entering a code from my mobile phone, but I'm not sure about any of the other steps. Any help would be appreciated.

Two-Factor Authentication, also known as 2FA, is a security measure that requires users to provide two pieces of evidence when logging in to a website or application. This extra layer of security helps to ensure that only the person who owns the account can gain access to it. The two pieces of evidence that are typically required are something that the user knows (like a password) and something that the user has (like a mobile phone).

When a user attempts to log in to a website or application with 2FA enabled, they will first be required to enter their username and password. Once they have done this, they will be prompted to enter a code that has been sent to their mobile phone or email address. This code is generated by the website or application and is only valid for a short period of time. Once the code has been entered, the user will be granted access to the account.

Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on MEXC is a simple process. First, log in to your MEXC account and select “Security” from the top navigation bar. On the Security page, you will find the “Two-Factor Authentication” option. Click on this option and then select “Enable”.

You will then be asked to enter your mobile number and select the authentication method you would like to use. You can choose between SMS, Google Authenticator, or Authy. Once you have made your selection, you will be prompted to enter the code that is sent to your mobile phone. Once you have entered the code, two-factor authentication will be enabled on your MEXC account.

Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an additional layer of security used to protect online accounts. It requires two different forms of authentication to verify the identity of the user. This is generally done by combining something the user knows (such as a password) with something the user has (such as a mobile phone or security token). 2FA is becoming increasingly popular, as it is an effective way to protect online accounts from unauthorized access.

What is MEXC?
