Where does the abducens travel?
The abducens nerve exits the brainstem at the pontomedullary junction and courses upward and laterally in the subarachnoid space between the pons and the clivus, before piercing the petroclival dura, travelling through Dorello's canal, and then entering the cavernous sinus.
