Terra Luna Classic is ready for another major on-chain upgrade as the community unanimously approved the proposal and received massive support from validators. Terra Classic v2.4.2 upgrade will primarily enable the addition of dApps in Terra Luna Classic and mostly introduce IBC-Hooks along with the Enterprise DAO.

Software upgrade offerUpgrade V2.4.2” has crossed the migration threshold with huge support from Terra Luna Classic validators and the community to update the Terrad client to v2.4.2 (upgrade name v7). Terra Luna Classic chain will be organized block height 17309000. Expected at: 16:00 UTC Open March 25According to StakeBin data.
The proposal received 100% “Yes” votes from LUNC holders and validators. All validators voted in favor of the proposal, including Allnodes, Orion, Interstellar Lounge, Stakely, and HappCattyCrypto. The unanimous support demonstrates the importance of the proposal.
Since every proposal must go through a week-long discussion period before being voted on, few changes occur after a discussion in the community. The most significant changes are the removal of the packet forward middleware (PFM) from the mainnet version and the addition of a minimum initial deposit.
Other details about the offer are as previously reported by parofix. Thus, the base Terra Classic upgrade will have the following improvements:
- Introducing IBC Hooks (by Original Laboratories and Fragwuerdig)
- E2E and Cross-Chain Testing Suite (by Original Labs)
- A fix for handling MsgExec in the Tax Ante Handler (by Fragwuerdig)

- Add tests for MsgExec handling by StrathCole
- Fix minimum initial deposit with Frag and StrathCole
The Terra Luna Classic community also approved Original Labs’ major security upgrade proposal, which updates core components to Cosmos SDK 0.47.10, IBC go v7, and Wasmd 0.45.0.

Singapore-based crypto futures trading platform WEEX announced the listing of LUNC spot and futures pairs. Users can trade LUNC/USDT futures and LUNC/USDT spot on March 11.
