LUNC News: The Terra Luna Classic community has finally accepted the proposal to implement Tax2Gas, which eliminates the need to separate the processing and calculation of tax. As StrathCole and Original Labs state, Tax2Gas will incorporate tax into gas and reduce complexities for dApp developers and others.
As Tax2Gas nears implementation, members of the Terra Classic community have begun discussions about increasing the incineration tax to 1.2%. Once it happens All implemented crypto exchanges will burn in buying and selling, driving the LUNC price higher.
Terra Classic Will Apply Incineration Tax to Gas Fees
Proposal No. 12115 “Original Labs Tax2Gas Implementation” was accepted in a management vote on the Station wallet. Original Labs’ proposal aims to move forward with the tax being included in the gas. The team will also work to improve chain security by preventing attack vectors using e2e-testing.
The proposal received 74.91 percent ‘Yes’ and 25.03 percent ‘Official’ votes. This shows that some community members are reluctant to accept the Tax2Gas app. The majority of participating validators voted in favor of the proposal. Interstellar Lounge has support from validators such as JESUSisLORD, Stakely, HappyCattyCrypto, StakeBin and others.
However, Terra Luna Classic’s top validator Allnodes voted “abstain” and warned the community about the low level of discussions.
As parofix previously reported, Tax2Gas’ proposal is a game-changer because it will solve problems for contract developers, including the need to manually calculate the burn tax. Here’s the problem: Since the simulation endpoint only provides gas estimates, customers or dApps have to calculate the tax themselves. Migrating audited dApps becomes cumbersome due to these Classic-specific adjustments, leading to potential re-audits.
Original Lab developers need 5 weeks for research, development, basic testing and deployment. The estimated total budget at LUNC is $25,000.

Increase in LUNC and USTC Prices
LUNC price increased by 6% in the last 24 hours, driven by the rise in altcoins, but it gave up most of the gains. Price is currently trading $0.00009023The 24-hour low and high were $0.00008855 and $0.00009445 respectively. Additionally, the 32% decrease in trading volume in the last 24 hours shows the indifference of investors.
However, the Terra Classic community believes that the price can reach $1 in this bull market. It must break above the $0.00012 level for a major rally to start.
Meanwhile, USTC price has also increased by more than 2% and the price is currently trading at $0.01857. 24-hour trading volume saw a 12% decline in the last 24 hours as investors failed to sustain the recovery.
