Terra Classic Original Labs Offer Officially Passed, LUNC Burn Rate Increased
The terra luna Classic community has approved developer Original Labs’ proposal for major core updates to improve security, functionality, and interoperability. Original Labs’ security upgrade package includes improvements and optimizations to Wasmd, IBC Go, and Cosmos SDK.
Terra Luna Classic Set for Major Upgrade
Offer 12088 “Original Labs security upgrade packages” exceeded the “pass threshold,” according to current voting details. In the main kernel upgrade, the developer group will first upgrade to cosmos SDK 0.47 and then to Cosmos SDK 0.50.1. The offering provides significant upgrades to Cosmos SDK 0.47.10, IBC go v7 and Wasmd 0.45.0.
The fact that the proposal received a 99.95% “Yes” vote shows the great support of the Terra Luna Classic community. All participating validators voted “Yes” on the proposal. These include Allnodes, Orion, Interstellar Lounge, Stakely and JesusIsLord.
As reported by parofix, Original Labs plans to complete all development in 8 weeks and with an estimated budget of $30 thousand. Cosmos SDK 0.47.10 delivers enhanced security, increased interoperability, developer-friendly improvements, and overall performance benefits for building or using applications on the Cosmos network. Upgrades; Wasmd is for dependencies such as Comet BFT, Cosmos SDK, ibc-go v8, Cosmos Proto and Cometbft-db, and other security updates to the Terra Classic kernel.

LUNC and USTC Price Performance According to Increase in Burn Rate
The LUNC burn rate has increased significantly this month, with an average daily burn of 200 million tokens. According to StakeBin data, 1.3 billion LUNC tokens were burned this week. The decline in supply led to a more than 2% increase in futures open interest on major derivatives exchanges.
LUNC price is up 1% in the last 24 hours and is up over 12% in a week, and Terra Luna Classic price is trading at $0.000193. The 24-hour low and high are $0.000184 and $0.000197 respectively. The community thinks that a break above $0.0005 will bring a major rally.
