Bitcoin experienced a significant surge in price after a US court ordered the SEC to vacate its decision to reject Grayscale’s application for a Bitcoin ETF. The cryptocurrency jumped by over $2,000 to reach a two-week high of over $28,000, resulting in $80 million in short positions being liquidated. However, Bitcoin has since retraced by approximately $1,000 and currently has a Market cap of $530 billion with a dominance rate of 48.9%.

Many altcoins followed Bitcoin’s upward trend and recorded substantial daily gains. The top performers were BCH and TONCOIN. However, most altcoins have turned red today, experiencing minor losses. Ethereum (ETH) is down by 0.5% but remains above $1,700, while Binance Coin (BNB) has slipped by 1% and is Trading just below $225. Other cryptocurrencies such as Ripple, Cardano, Tron, TONCOIN, Polkadot (DOT), Polygon (MATIC), Litecoin (LTC), and Shiba Inu (SHIB) are also slightly in the red. The biggest loser among the top 10 cryptocurrencies is Solana (SOL), which has dropped by 4%, although it still remains above $20. On the other hand, Dogecoin (DOGE) has gained 1.5% and is trading above $0.065.
