How did Danae get pregnant?
Zeus came to Danae in prison in the form of a shower of gold. This caused Danae to become pregnant with Perseus. Acrisius was understandably shocked. The fearful grandfather was now concerned that his grandson Perseus would kill him, fulfilling the oracle's prophecy.
