The Aave Protocol, currently the third-largest DeFi protocol in terms of Total Value Locked (TVL) with nearly $4.7 billion, will be the first beneficiary of the incentive program. 100,000 METIS Tokens will be allocated to incentivize liquidity pools for assets available on Aave, including ETH, METIS, USDC, USDT, and DAI. In addition to Aave, Metis is also collaborating with other DeFi projects within its ecosystem.
