Bitcoin Remains Strong Above $46K; pepe Price Dropped, sui Increased 18%
Cryptocurrencies were in the green in morning trade on Friday as major digital assets, including the OG cryptocurrency Bitcoin, witnessed a surge in prices.
Data from CoinGlass shows that more than $230 million worth of cryptocurrencies were liquidated in the last 24 hours, with $43.2 million worth of Bitcoin long positions alone being liquidated.
This was despite the launch of a number of spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US, where trading volume reached over $1.5 billion on the opening day.
While the price of Bitcoin (BTC) increased by 0.2% in the last 24 hours to $46,185, its market value increased to $905 billion. However, transaction volumes decreased by approximately 15% in the last 24 hours, falling to 43.8 billion dollars.
The third largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum, followed a similar upward trend, rising over 0.5% in the last 24 hours to $2,610. As of the time of writing, Ether has a market value of $ 313.8 billion, while its transaction volume decreased by 36% in the last 24 hours to $ 19.2 billion.
tether (USDT) price fell marginally to $0.99, BNB rose 2% to $312.75, while solana fell below $100. Meanwhile, XRP is up 0.8% and Avalanche (AVAX) is up 2.2% in the last 24 hours.
Amid the price surge, the global crypto market rose approximately 0.6% to $1.77 trillion. The fear and greed index level stood at 73, indicating that investor sentiment is positive.

SUI cryptocurrency has seen a rise of more than 18% in the last 24 hours. While the price of SUI was at $1.08 at the time of writing the news, its market value increased to $1.19 billion. 24-hour trading volumes increased by 162% to $889.2 million.
