Bitcoin (BTC) Price Drops Nearly 5%, pepe Crashes, ARB Rises



Crypto Prices Today: The cryptocurrency market suffered losses on Thursday as Bitcoin and other major digital assets fell into the red. Leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin erased all of its gains on Tuesday, but prices were still above the critical level of $43,000.

Almost all of the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market cap showed a similar downward trend. The price drop comes amid reports that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) may backtrack on plans to approve spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), including from Wall Street giant BlackRock.


Bitcoin’s price has fallen over 5 percent in the last 24 hours to $43,059, falling further from its recent peak above $45,500 reached earlier this week; This marks the largest digital asset’s highest point in nearly 21 months. While Bitcoin’s market value fell to $843.8 billion, transaction volumes increased by over 57% to $47 billion.

Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency, lost over 6% in the last 24 hours, falling to $2,226, while its market value fell to $267.6 billion. Transaction volume increased by 83% in the last 24 hours, reaching 19.7 billion dollars.

Other than tether rising 0.05% and BNB gaining 1.6%, smaller tokens also took a hit. solana (SOL) dropped over 6% in the last 24 hours, falling below $101, XRP dropped more than 8% to $0.58, and Cardano (ADA) price dropped over 8% to $0.56. Memecoins were also floating in the red; dogecoin and Shiba Inu are down over 9%.


The global crypto market fell nearly 5% to $1.65 trillion on Thursday as Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies lost value. The fear and greed index level remained at 67, indicating declining investor sentiment.

The price of Pepe Coin decreased by over 11% in the last 24 hours to $0.000001211 and its market value dropped to $511.7 million. However, the transaction volume in the last 24 hours increased by approximately 156%, reaching 184.4 million dollars.

In line with broader turmoil in the crypto market, KAS price has fallen over 11% in the last 24 hours to $0.104. This was also reflected in its market capitalization, which dropped to $2.3 billion. 24-hour trading volume increased by a massive 100% to over $73.3 million.

Arbitrum’s price increased by 4.4% in the last 24 hours to $1.97. The token has gained nearly 23% in value over the past seven days and has a market cap of $2.5 billion. Transaction volumes increased by 144% in the last 24 hours, reaching 3.2 billion dollars.
